Over mij

Sinds ik een klein meisje was, ben ik geobsedeerd door kralen.
Kleuren, vormen en materialen waarvan ze gemaakt zijn.
Mijn liefde voor kleur en kralen, gemixt met hiphop, of beter gezegd:
urban culture — zit in elke ketting.

Alles rijg ik met de hand. 
Het voelt als een download rechtstreeks uit mijn brein.
Deze kettingen zijn wie ik ben.
Ik maak wat ik voel.
Ik volg geen trends.
Ik jaag geen hype na.
Ik ga op wat voor míj tof is en lekker voelt.
Voor mij is elke ketting een klein kunstwerk.

Overal waar ik kom verzamel ik kralen. Vintage. Steentjes. Schelpen van het strand.
Glas, acryl, keramiek — oud en nieuw door elkaar.
Alles komt samen in één stuk.

Elke ketting is one of a kind. 1/1. Limited. Nooit opnieuw gemaakt.

Fun fact: de titels van de kettingen komen uit de liedjes waar ik naar luister tijdens het maken van de kettingen. Of uit wat er in me opkomt terwijl ik bezig ben.

ABOUT ME (EN)

Since I was a little girl, I’ve been obsessed with beads — their colors, shapes, and energy.

Driven by my love for color and beads, and inspired by hiphop (or rather, urban culture), I string every necklace together by hand.
It honestly feels like a download straight from my busy brain.
These necklaces are reflections of who I am.
I create what I feel.
I don’t follow trends, I don’t chase hype — I move with what I think is dope.
To me, each piece is a small work of art.

I collect beads everywhere I go and combine them into the most unique pieces possible. Each necklace is a mix of vintage beads, stones, shells I’ve picked up at the beach, glass beads, acrylic beads and ceramic elements, plus a few fresh additions.

Every necklace is one of a kind — 1/1, limited, and never recreated.

Fun fact: the names of the necklaces come from song lyrics I’m listening to, or whatever pops into my mind while I’m creating.
